Shawn Davis earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial technologies from Eastern Illinois University. To further his career closer to the St Louis area, Shawn moved to St. Peters, Missouri. He started working at a St. Louis power transmission company where he gained a lot of knowledge and experience. During this time, he met his wife Sheridan, and they had 2 children, Gunnar and Sumner. After years of working his way up the ladder, he made the decision in February of 2017, to go off on his own and create GS3 Industrial. The strong relationships that he formed over time contributed to him building a successful business from the ground up. GS3 owes its name to Shawn and his family (G = Gunnar.S3 = Shawn, Sheridan, Sumner).

Sadly, Shawn passed away on July 1, 2025. It is our mission to continue Shawn’s legacy and honor his dedication and wealth of knowledge that he brought to the table. GS3 continues to grow by adding more people, equipment, and capabilities.
